When McLaren Cars and Boeing Aircraft Corporation decided to use carbon fiber in some of their newest designs, there was a reason. Carbon fiber helps to create a lighter, stronger and stiffer body, yet easily molded to any shape. So it's only natural that this technology will eventually make its way into the boat building world. Sometime in 2016, Buddy Davis will be introducing their new 42 foot center which will be the first boat of its kind in the world to be made 100% of carbon fiber.
